So I'm a "cutter" but I don't know or think I'm addicted. I don't cut when I'm upset, sad, mad, etc.. but usually when I'm bored. I cut alot, and I'm getting deeper everytime. When I start to think about cutting I can't stop thinking about it untill i actaully do. So whats your opinoin am I addicted or just messed up? I really like the pain and blood.

Cutting does become an addiction it is harder to quit then just about any drug. It sounds to me like you are addicted. You need to find a creative outlet possibly anywhere from photography to a safe form of body modification. If you are cutting deeper each time then it sounds like you are on the brink of the "abyss" you need to find where the fascination of blood comes from or if you feel that it is the only way to clear you mind. If that is the case then you do need to see someone about it because it only gets worse. If you don't mind me asking which age group you are in. If you are in school go see your counselor and tell them about it and if your not then you need to tell a trusted friend or family member. All actions are caused by something. How did you come across cutting as an outlet? Take my words with heart and realize that either way if you are "messed up" or "addicted" niether one is a good choice. and you seriously need to vent and allow frustrations to be released.

interior the comparable context. it truly is theoretically an uncomplicated answer, flow and you will under no circumstances do the drug returned. We see the D1 receptor sites recede in a singular context. What meaning is you at the instant are not to any extent further addicted once you reside someplace else. yet once you get the cues like a pal you many times did drugs with or the Bar, or it truly is 7:30, time to fulfill Jimmy and so on, your recommendations places out the receptors that make you crave the drug. No cues, no habit. in case you progression you're off the drug constantly (extremely conversing). each so often stress or the drug itself is the cue, wherein case it truly is a splash extra good to get removed from. dextromethorphan is likewise shown to interrupt tolerance. there grew to become into one night in Baltimore while over 18 human beings got here in for heroin overdoes. seems it grew to become into decrease with cough pills which had dextromethorphan. So while people who have been used to filling all their (shall we are saying) 20 receptors with 2 grams of heroin, basically had 6 receptors and took 2 grams, so as they had no tolerance and overdosed. This bring about Morph-Dex, a for of morphine for skill opiate addicts to stay away from habit.

You're self-mutilating. Endorphines are released when you cut yourself and gives you a rush. Go talk to a counselor. Yes, you have a dangerous addiction. Best to you.

You don't want to stop because that would mean facing what is causing you to do this to yourself. Cutting is not a hobbie that you choose to do or not do. It is a symptom of something else. PLEASE talk to someone you trust and GET HELP. You said yourself that the cutting is getting worse. What happens when the cutting is not enough. Please don't wait to find out. Talk to someone.

You really need to seek some professional help. If you're not comfortable talking to your parents, find a teacher or counselor or school, or maybe a friend's mom or dad, but you really need to talk to someone about this. That's not normal, and it's not good for you.

You certainly sound addicted, but you need to see what options are out there for your situation. Please talk to someone. At least asking the question here is a start!! You can get through this.
