P.S how long does it normally take for the signs to show up in a person, and is it treatable?

It is unlikely that you have picked up herpes - or cold sores as the version that you get on your mouth and lips would be called. To ease your mind, read the information at this site about cold sores.

I hope this helps.

Aw, you seem panicked... I agree with everybody else, I don't think it's herpes. But always go to the doctor to ask questions. And if you're talking to the girl, casually ask her if she was chewing anything or ate anything you might have been allergic to. But with herpes, I think it takes a while before you see symptoms...

Oh, and herpes is treatable, but you shouldn't have unprotected sex, and you should let your partner know that you have it if you do. It's treatable, but it isn't curable. I imagine it must be terrible to have it...

Not this soon. It takes a LONG time for the virus to appear in a healthy person. It may be nerves, or even a slight response that your body is mounting in response to her bacteria, but it is probably benign. As you get older and get more girlfriends, you are going to get the classic "new girlfriend cod" (or in womens cases "new boyfriend cold"), but that too, will be benign. Just be safe.

Sounds like it! If it is there is no way to get rid of them, and you will have them for the rest of your life! They will most likely act up when you are stressed or in the sun alot. Use abeva as soon as you feel one coming on, this helps alot.
