israel was re-established in 1948 and it is stated that this generation shall not pass until all is fullfilled (a generation in the bible is 70 years ) so if U add 70 years to 1948 U end up with 2019
........and if U subtract the 7 years of tribulation U will end up with 2012 the last date 4 the inca calendar ? what say U or me ?

that is the best christian explanation that i have seen for this.
however i will offer a pagan view.
of all the people that tole prophesies none told anything after 2012.
this includes the native American and southern American Indians.
i believe that the earth will begin to change in the near future.
i do not believe in a complete end to humanity but the time known as end times will rid us of technology and reduce us to tribal life living from the land and in respect of the planet that we call home.
as for the prophesies,,well i think that it was left for us to write those but no one takes a seer seriously anymore so new prophesies have not been written.

I've heard of this about the inca calendar but never new a generation was an equivilant of 70 years. But, its true, 2012 has been a year tossed around by a lot of people and ideals. However, I slo know the bible askys you to not try and figure out the day of the rapture or second comming. So,... reasonable, yes.... but I try not to think about it too much. Interesting theory though.

Its a good shot, but Christ said that the tribulation would be shorten for the sake of the elect!
this could put the date as far as 2018
or still 2012 and move up the date of return!

The incan calender supposedly ends in the year 2012. Though I'd doubt that means the tribulation will begin that year.
In the end, stay close to God, and don't worry about it.

I think it literally means that the year 2012 was as far as the Incans got written down. It could be a coincidence. It may be significant or maybe not. I guess we'll know in about 6 years.

They realised universal truths, future of mankind, and other problems that plague humanity cant actually be figured out by tracking the stars, so they ..... gave it up. They realized it was the same crap over and over and over again, once they reached 2012 they decided to just give up the fruitless venture and spend time wid their families and sh!t.
