i dont know what this is. its so weird. i have several, small bumps on my head, on the left side mostly. (there are about 7 i believe.) they are under the skin and ive pushed on them, thinking they might be zits or pimples, but they dont pop or break open. sometimes they get really sore and when u look at them in the mirror, u cant really see them too well... what do u think they are?? (cuz i dont have the money to see a doctor right now.. they are too expensive!!)

I was watching a really gross segment of Life in the ER. One woman complained of something like this. Turns out that she had worms in her scalp. A fly had laid eggs on her head. When the egg hatched the newborn worm burrowed into her scalp, and started feeding off of her. There was a small hole that the worm needed to breathe through to stay alive, and once in awhile liquid would bubble up through the hole. The cure was to place a drop of dish detergent over the hole. This is thick and viscous and choked the worms. Then when they were dead, the doctors squeezed them out enough to grab them with tweezers and pull them the rest of the way out.

So, does it feel like something is moving around in there?

The same thing happened my son . He had a bump the size of an egg on his forehead. Looks real scary. He cried immediately afterwards and that's the key. As long as he cried, it didn't knock him out and if he is behaving normal now, I wouldn't worry. When I called the Ped. they told me to just watch him at nap time and if he sleeps way past his usual time, to wake him up and call them back. Also you could try the 'how many fingers do I have' trick. If he is seeing clearly, he's just fine.

you have what is known a sebacious cysts. The used to be known as wens. They are harmless, you can look them up. They are also pretty common. I have several and I have had even more removed. Some people get them and most don't. It is a quick proceedure to remove them. 1 to 2 shots of anesthestic and then they cut them out. It takes about 2 min. It does however get a little annoying after the third one or so. They are so minor, the last time I had it done I had about ten removed at the student health clinic at the Universtiy of Oregon.

It's most likely an epidermoid cyst. They are not medically concerning. They can be removed relatively easily if they are causing pain or irritation like catching them with a hairbrush or comb. An epidermoid cyst is an enlarged sebaceous gland filled with dead skin and sebaceous oil forming a sac. If the Dr can get the whole sac out when removing it, which is common on the scalp, then it should never come back in the same exact spot. They are genetic, and there's nothing you can to prevent them or treat them on your own! :)

Please get THUJA- Q (homoeopathic medicine) liquid
and apply on the areas with a swab. Two times a day.
You will get relief and these bumps will subside.
Apply small quantity only.
Three days' application may do the trick.
It is not very expansive.
If you get relief, do not forget to thank me.

Once I had a lump on the side of my neck that I couldn't figure out what it was, after numerous doctor's visits and checkups one morning I woke up and it was gone.

Hope yours does the same!
