What's the difference between fate, luck, or coincidence? I think it all comes down to the choices made by each individual. In some ways, all our decisions affect the decisions of others. It's like a chain that never ends.

Fate and luck are merely ways to describe why things happen that are not in our control. Of course, we all know that control is merely an illusion. Instead, our lives are merely by-products of an infinite equation. Our choices, that give us the illusion of control, are already determined by factors too numerous to list here. For example, let's say you are hungry and need to choose something to eat. It may seem like you have control, but in reality your choices are limited t what country you live in, the neighborhood you live in, the time of the day or night you are looking to eat, and your food preference based on your upbringing, race, social standing and a number of other factors. You quickly realize that your choice is not really a choice. Even the fact that you are hungry at the time is predetermined by what you did throughout the day. This kind of calculation to determine how our life will turn out is too complex for us and that is why refer to it as fate and luck. Things that are beyond our comprehension.

I used to believe in fate, luck, destiny what ever you want to call it. Have you ever noticed that anything that happens to you and the things that are drawn towards you usually come from the way you feel about yourself, positive/negative, and the things you want for yourself, thats why we must take responsibility for our actions. We as individuals is what makes our destinies, there are also things that are beyond our control there are is always away around it, it just depends how much you grow in life.

Ok Christians believe that God has a divine plan for each of us, which is the same general principle of fate. Even if you're not a Christian, I think that if things are meant to be they will be, and that everything happens for a reason. (And oh how cliched I sound) :)

Deep question - I like it!

I think it can be both. I do believe that we are victims of fate, however, we can "create" our our luck too. What I mean, I think, is we can choose to change what fate has handed us - if we so choose to.....

Define fate?
I think it means alot of things to different ppl. Fate to me means what God has planned for me ahead of time as I know it. It is a predestined path He would like to see me follow and He does all He can to guide me there.

I personally do not believe in fate, but people who do tend to seem more influenced by it.

Depends what yo class as 'fate'

One dictionary says, its a force which dictates outcomes....
But the real explanation is something Ungodly, Like 'serendipity.'

God is good brother, all things happen for a reason, God sees all, we all go through trials and tribulations, God wants us to be open to him and to grow with him.
