In the movie Red Corner, the "judge" continually refers to Richard Gere's character as the "accused amor". I am spelling this phonetically, so it may not be correct. Thanks for your help.

There is no such word "Amor" in Chinese language. It is a French word means "Love". Actually, the word you are talking about is "Amo" means Mr. so it was referred as Mr. Accused. There you go.

Was it "ang-mor"? If so, the word is a southern Chinese dialect that means a Caucasian. ang=red, mor=hair.
Are you sure the language was Chinese?
