i would like to know opinions about islam??

Well,this religion,what pepole think of it,is it real that the religion islam itself is anti-any act of terrorism??Are gossips about that it is the religion of peace of soul and mind,real???

Islam, as expressed in the Qur'an (not necessarily as practiced by falible humans), is indeed an extremely powerful and beautiful religion. It is extremely historical, objective, metaphysical and real-political. The Qur'an is expressly ABOUT the fundamental ongoing struggle between good and evil ... across all of space-time ... in realms both visible and invisible. It is a much more practical and straight-forward view of things than mere allegory or parables of the Bible, and as a work was compiled much closer in time to the receipt by the Prophet.

Who dared critize Islam without reading the Book, or Muslims without studying their modern history?

And, were there no Muslims back in the Middle Ages ... damned European barbarians would NEVER have come out of the Dark Ages. Muslims saved the classics we're so proud of as westerners ... but mostly don't read, anyway.

Yes...Islam is absolutely 100% anti-any act of terrorims. The very word "Islam" comes from the arabic word "salam" which means peace. So the religion Islam and its teachings are very peaceful, even though some people like those retarded people in the middle east who claim to be Muslims don't exactly practice Islam the way it should be practiced, which is in a peaceful way. I guess it's the same with every religion, such as Christianity and Judaism, all these religions have some really good morals and teachings, it's just that the people who claim to be a part of that religion mar the name of it.

Islam has existed since the 6th century AD and we have not had any problems with terrorism until the last 10 years or so. The terrorists are basically the same sort of radical cultists as you get in any large religion - they look at the scriptures (the Quran) and choose the bits they want to be able to justify what they want to do.
I have studied most major world religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism, and more obsure ones like Voodoo and Zoroastrianism, and have found Islam to be a very peaceful religion. Basically Muslims are allowed to go to war in defence of their faith but only if there is a clear theat and at other times they are not allowed to follow the path of anger.

Islam is a peaceful religion, as is Christianity and most other world religions. However, like in any religion, there are violent extremists who think they are doing the work of God (remember the Crusades?) or just using the excuse of religion to demonstrate their hatred and intolerance. Unfortunately, these very few terrorists have made their entire religion look bad.

Islam rewards terrorist acts if it is for the cause of Allah / Islam. That is how they get to heaven.

That is a false belief because conscience tells that this is wrong. There are muslims who listen to their conscience and believe terrorism is wrong.They are the ones that focus on some of the better Koran verses.

It is a religion of peace if others convert to it. If it becomes a strong force in a state then they kill the unbelievers (if they don't pay the extra tax.). If muslims are a minority, then they say peace peace. And hope to convert people peacefully.

Hammas, Hezbollah, Taliban sound familiar? Do we hear of Muslims condemning these groups? Did you see the dancing in the streets, handing out candy and chanting death to America and death to Israel by the crowds in Islamic countries after 9/11. Have you heard of the train bombings in Spain and the riots and bombings in London? Did you hear about the last plot to blow up planes? Have you heard any outcry from the Muslims? Have you heard this nut in Iran who said Israel should be wiped off the map? Any outcry from the Muslim world? Have you heard of the almost daily homicide bombings of civilians in various places all over the world? Heard of any public outcry from the Muslim world yet? Sure, maybe one here and one there but mostly nothing but dead silence from the Muslim world for these things happening nearly every day. That is just the short list.

Islam is not true, I do not say this arrogantly or ignorantly. We know that there cannot be two truths 1+1 always =2 never 3. So if another religion is right this one is false. Judaism is true. It's truth is backed up by fulfilled prophecy. Now Christianity is from Judaism. God chose the Jews to reach the whole world to be a good testimony for Him. However they turned from Him and after a lot of this God finallly turned from them and came directly to the whole world. The difference between Christianity and Islam or any other religion is that all religions say you have got to earn youre way into heaven. However God say you must be perfect to get into His holy presence not just good, therefore God made a way for us to be forgiven. Jesus paid for our sins by His death. Any religion that promotes violence yet proclaims peace is a wolf in sheep's clothing. No god would ever want murder and anarchy. The proof is that the Islams that say that violence and terrorism is not a part of Islam are not doing anything to stop those that are doing it in the name of Islam. Sad really!
