MY alter ego, anthonyinkc-that's me-asked a series of questions about the materialistic lives of some of America's biggest tv preachers. I got a very negative response from some fans of multimillionaire televangelists. I used reputable links from news sites, and other christian websites to prove my point about the lives of these millionaires.

For example, Jerry Falwell recieving 3.5 million from Rev. Moon-who claims he's the real messiah. And Benny Hinn and Joyce Meyer's very, very rich lives-combined they own 9 MANSIONS! Or Jesse Duplantis buying a 18 million dollar jet-while his city was underwater from Katrina. And his ministry was claiming near poverty to help his neighbors.

Of course love of material goods, and riches is forbidden in the bible. But some people on here defended their rich lifestyles, false revelations supposedly direct from God, etc.

So to make them happy, my question is....WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE MULTIMILLIONAIRE TELEVANGELIST?

Yes, I'm a Christian and believe in God. I have a serious problem with materialistic multimillionaire televangelist, that even though they do some good. They are not bondservants of Christ, in terms of material wealth.

I would have to say Benny Hinn for his posh life...

"Dateline NBC ran an exposé on Hinn in December 27, 2002, and aired a follow-up investigation on March 6, 2005, which alleged that Hinn lives a lavish lifestyle, that his ministry uses only a small percentage of its revenues for charitable purposes and that claims of successful faith healing are unsubstantiated and, in some cases, false. Hinn responded to the allegations in detail in a letter on March 10, 2004. The allegations, however, are hard to validate, since Hinn's ministry claims a church tax exemption, as opposed to a religious non-profit exemption, which exempts Hinn and his ministry from having to reveal financial records (see below regarding an investigation into such exemption). Hinn lives in an oceanfront hacienda in Dana Point, California, valued at $8.5-million."

I can't say he is my favorite, but he is definately my dad's favorite is Benny Hinn. I have done a lot of research on him. And I mean a lot. I have brought the quotes and facts to my dad and he denies them. He claims Hinn was misquoted or mispoke.

My dad has even told me some of the things he has said. things like how he claimed one time, he prayed a demon out of himself and it left him through his head. I immediately countered my dad and asked him how Benny Hinn could be saved if he was demon possessed. He backtracked very quickly.

I have seen videos of him growling like an animal, hitting people with his expensive white Armani suits that have the name of his ministry embroidered on the front in 24 kt gold thread. He walks out to how great thou art. It all just makes me sick to my stomach. One of my biggest questions about him is he claims thousands get saved at his "revivals" sometimes hundreds of thousands. Then why isn't this world turned upside down for Jesus? Why aren't all these converts going out and showing and sharing the love of Christ with others?

I believe if Jesus were around today, this would be one of the place he would go and turn the tables over, and throw the monechanger out.

Peter Popoff has that great mircale water that he is pushing on TV. Any moron that would buy that expecting any kind of miracle deserves to have the shipping and handling money taken from them.
