do you mean a new car? you won't find a new car for less than 6000 dollars. if you are looking for a good used cars, you should go for a toyota or a honda. they are the most reliable and hold up well over time. you should go on consumer reports and look up reviews of different cars. they were very helpful. i just recently bought a honda civic 2006. although it is much more than your price range, it is a really great car.

If you really want to start out right in the game of life and have worked the same job for a year. Gather up as much cash as you can and buy a new entry level car Toyota Yarus, Honda Fit, Scion Xa, Nissan Versa. All of these new cars have warranty some really have usable features like bluetooth for your phone to ring Thur to your car hands free talk normally. That Car would be the Versa from 12,000 to 17,000 dollars go out and check the new Beginner Cars

Hey,
If you are new I would say go for a Honda or a toyota ... they run well .. u dont have as many issues with them ... they are not too costly to maintain ...
now since your budget is only $6000 .. you probably can't get a very good looking car ... but civic's look decent .. the EX model even has a sun roof

The best car ever Is Honda whether it be an accord, civic, prelude etc........ This car will last forever, just make sure you do the required maintenance on it. I have an accord that I will keep forever, it is a 1991 with 270,000 miles and still gets 40 mpg.Whatever you do do not buy a Dodge Intrepid, I also have one of those........terrible car. Good luck!

If you are a new driver, I suggest that you buy the second hand car. Look for the "used cars" in your Yahoo!Search in your immediate area and bring along a friend who knows a lot about cars if you have decided to check them out.

below 6k, you're going to have to go used, and you're probably only going to find older models for that price (probably before '00, maybe '01). I'd say go shopping and pick the one that runs the best, because if you get your heart stuck on one certain kind, you might end up very disappointed.
