You shouldn't, as your going too slow otherwise to even have the overdrive engage. So I'd just turn that off.

Yes Leaveit in OD with the 4 WD in auto mode and let yor computer controlled tranny do the rest Remember that if yo go to 4WD low an its a GM product,stop and put it in neutral and then hit the 4WD low button and then shift into 1st gear on your automatic tranny

NO! I know most American 4wd's automatically disable the OD when engaged.

unless you are going fast enough off road to engage overdrive (varies by car, usually 35-45 mph) it won't matter. if you are going faster than that, don't use overdrive and good luck!!

No reason too. Overdrive is for highway speeds.

what exactly are you doing are you in 4lo or 4hi? how fast are you planing to go while offroading? you shouldn't need it if your going slow because you wont reach high enough speed to even engage it. so it wouldn't matter
