not sure, but you can bottle feed the kittens, go to the pet store and ask for kitten replacement milk, I found the powder kind works the best, and a kitten baby bottle. Like human infants, the milk should be a "little" warm, and be sure to feed them in a warm fuzzy and soft enviroment like being near mom, but NEVER give real milk, it'll make them sick.

Since stress stopped ,when she and the kitten come home make comfortable and be sure to give something comfy and warm for the momma cat to lay on but not too big for the kitties to gen entangled in-keep the area quiet, private and for the next sev.weeks do not let a bunch people go there and mess with the kittens-for to have kiiten messed with and a bunch of strangers or Noise will cause stress-to have milk start and continue producing as long as kitten need -Stress Level Has to MInimal-only haaer family members-those she knows should be allowed near her and the kitten-also impoertan that you provide her with top qualty food-would get one that the Vet recommends and sells-to keep her milk coming and packed with nutrients for the kitten and to hve the Momma cat not be weakened by nursing . Never give your cat (or any animal)including kitten when old enough to eat kitten food any food that has-where it lists the contents ByProducts for it is the junk parts of the animal-legs,beaks eyes and so on that is ground up into meal-what is stated as chicken meal-has very little real chicken meat. Nutro is a excellent Cat Food Product as there are otheras but not Science Diet-has BiProducts(which suprised me once I was aware of BiProducts actually was.) The best authority ofcourse to answer your questions and to confirm the info I gave concerning BiProducts is your vet. He can also give you a food substitute for your kitten until the cat starts giving milk or if not sufficient to supplement it with. Petsmart has a good supply of Quality Cat and Kitten Food and even kitten mother milk substitites as does also Petco but a bit cheaper at Petsmart. Good Luck

You can get a bottle of Rescue Remedy at a health foods store. It costs about $20. People use it and it will not harm your cat in any way. It really can help her with the trauma of the difficult birth and following a possible Cesarean (after Julius Cesar a Roman leader).
It will not interfere with any drugs or medications your vet has given her. It will definitely help with shock, trauma and pain. You simply shake the bottle really well and put three or four drops on the fur between her ears. If you visit her in the hospital take it with you and "treat" her there. At home treat her three or four times a day if you can. About a week should do it.
It will help her recovery from this difficult time and then she may be able to let her milk down for the kitten.
Best wishes for her speedy recovery.

You may have to feed the kitten yourself....! Check with the vet about what you will need.

You know what.... maybe you should give her some medicine of food that would help her give birth after the male se xes her and then when she starts to get fatter.
