If, for example, you're Christian and you see a picture of Christ: the face in the picture looking exactly like the real Jesus is a little beside the point. Or is it?
The spiritul connection, I would think has to do more with forgiveness than anything else. Or is it all about a man? Someone who lived in Isreal? Someone who lived between certain dates in history?
What I'm really asking is where details end and the SPIRIT of the story begins. Is it really important what kind of fruit was in the Garden of Eden? Or, for that matter, even if the story is literal?
ISN'T THE WHOLE THING MORE ABOUT A MESSAGE WITH A MEANING THAN who's right, and who wins the contest for knowing everything there is to know? Does God judge us by who guesses riddles the best? Or is it more about the heart - more about the spirt of the person?
