Maybe God uses people around you as messengers for him, and by ignoring them you are ignoring God. Have you considered this?

Maybe because they think you aren't listening. The truth is, sometimes God does use other people to "pass the message." it is up to you whether you choose to listen or not but be ready to discern the truths from the false. If you are a Christian, pray to God to tell you himself and be open to anything he has to say. In the meantime, don't take what other people say too harshly, they only care about you and sometimes don't realize just how much they're stepping on your toes. if they do know, they probably think that you need a wakeup call so to speak. They should at least approach you in kindness and love.

God will speak to you, but first you must be a child of God and have faith. God can speak to you in many ways: through people, through his word, a thought that suddenly comes to you. Satan can also speak to you. You can tell the difference if you know the word of God. The best way is by reading your Bible each day and meditating on the word of God

Generally such folks are really just trying to tell you what they think would be helpful. If you care what God has to say and that many people are telling you could it be that you have not been following what God has to say about how we should live our life. Following what he has to say if you don't believe is really a drag. But it is nothing compared to the result of not believing in Christ as you savior. But for sure that is your choice.

ur right it isnt, if god really wants u to do something he would tell himself right? Unless he doesn't like u or doesn't exist. Why would he risk his message getting misconstrued and twisted by ppl looking for personal gain by telling u what to do and claiming it is the word of god?

We must be prepared to hear or listen. Opening the soul is not always an easy task and does take practice sometimes. Just like sports, or music or any human activity.

God does not operate that way, or didn't you notice. You obviously never heard of Divine Authority in which God chose prophets to reveal his truths. When Jesus came he chose apostles to pass on and reveal God's truths. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE MISTER? Seriously, get with it and tell your parents to "get with it" because it should have been them to tell you this fundamental truth. What is the world coming to?

I agree with you one hundred percent on this. I believe in continous spiritual communion between soul and spirit and do not feel the need to rely upon exclusive divine revelations of spiritual knowledge that Gnostic Theist ideological authorities proclaim to be the true word of a good one in Heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. I my opinion this kind of thinking leads believers to have a low esteem of self and world relative to ideas based on a model of self and world unified by the spirit of an infinity, divinity, eternally, one. Mother God an infinite, divine, eternal, one and Father Love an infinite, fractal, infernal, one together join to create soul children each being the union of infinite divine eternal soul and fractal infernal temporal seed body in one of an infinite number, diversity and variety of large universes of the correct kind to support living infernal fractal entities.

I know what you mean... But on the other hand, His book has a lot to say and if you're unaware, you should remember: they're only trying to help you out...
Yet, your point is quite valid... He can tell you Himself...

You need to give people poetic licence. Assume they mean they want yo to do something instead of God.
Something along these lines:
Person: God wants you to be good.
Translation: I want you to be good.
