Its true that most questions here should be taken seriously so that the asker gets the required answer to their query. If people didn't take the questions seriously this site would simply not work - no-one would ever get anything answered and therefore wouldn't bother asking again.
HOWEVER! I've seen many questions here that have been lighthearted, humorous or just generally posted for a laugh...the majority of people reply with equally humorous replies, but 30/40% of the replies are people who simply "don't get it". They see every question as being serious and just don't understand the more jokey questions. Their responses tend to be negative, confused or downright offensive. It is these people who take questions a bit too seriously.
There are of course really offensive questions occasionally - but these are usually children trying to get a rise and are often reported and deleted before they are allowed to progress.
Personally I think we should all take each question as it comes and see the humour in every day life. I've only been using this site for a couple of days and I'm totally addicted already...I've had 2 questions answered that I really needed to know but have asked a couple more "light hearted" ones too.
Lets face it, if everyone takes this too seriously this site won't work. We'll all just get bored of "bad attitudes" and never come back. Its all about judgement and moderation.

They take the answers more seriously- I think I may have indirectly killed about 8 people on here.

sometimes i do, if i feel the person is seriously asking a question. sometimes i joke around too, depends on the mood,.

i think some questions are meant to be taken seriously.it really depends on the question.i hate when there are dirty nasty questions on here they should go to a chat site for that kind of rubish.

No, if someone asks a sensible question it deserves a sensible answer; but if they ask a frivolous question they deserve all of the drivel that they get.
