having drove down route 101 from Portland Oregon to San Francisco drove back i 5 through napa valley i would highly recommend visiting Beringer vineyard this would have to be a stop on the Napa valley trail

Yes I can help....Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Napa...Phone number 707-252-0444. Its a good place, only four years old, plus I work at the front desk there:). As far as wineries, I would recommend V. Sattui, Niebaum Coppola, and Robert Mondavi. I would be happy to help you more if you have any questions let me know.
