Yes! as a matter fact, I did. I make the best spaghetti in town. First of all I take some hamburger and make a meat sauce, I use Contadina Tomato Sauce and a couple of fresh tomatoes. I Saute the hamburger and chop it into small pieces so it will spread. I do not add the Tomatoes until just before I remove the sauce from the fire.
I add some garlic cloves and sprinkle the sauce with powdered garlic. A generous sprinkling of oregano and Sweet Basil, completes the sauce.
I use the best Italian Spaghetti, that I can find and drop it in boiling water. It is important to not overcook the spaghetti.
I boil it for 9 minutes and test it periodically. When I can chew it without the least sign of a crunch, it is ready.
I add a little salt to the boiling water to prevent bitterness.
Then of course, a glass of MERLOT goes real well with the spaghetti. A pizza would make a good companion choice as well.
Bon Appetite

My sympathies. Are you a fellow college student, by chance? I ate in the cafeteria at my school - Southwestern Oklahoma State University. It was beef stragonoff - pretty good.
(Frozen pizza made me sick one time. I think the cheese was bad. I won't go into anymore details than that. Trust me, you wouldn't want any more.)

Something very tasty and easy to prepare is parboiled Rice (Uncle Ben's), the dry, uncooked rice first fried a bit in butter and/or olive oil, with hatched onions and then cooked in a boullion.
Serve it with canned white thunafish, the thuna covered with fresh hatched onions as well, spice the tuna with a bit curry or paprica, arrange some olives and/or some capers around it on the plate.
My girlfriends used to like it. One of them is my wife today. However, it's her reigning in the kitchen nowadays, producing heavenly meals and, and, and ... much sophisticate of course. - You know, time goes so fast.
