Life must always have balance. You can't have hot with out cold. You can't happiness without sadness. You can't have life without death. That's just the way life is. There must always be balance. As long as there is good, there will always be evil. We all have choices to make in life. Unfortunately, there are some who don't always make the right choices. It is unintelligent to say free will is evil. Free will isn't evil. It is the choices that some people choose to make that is evil. Every morning I have a choice to make. I can either go to work or stay at home. I have the free will to make that decision. Am I committing an evil act by doing either of these things? No. Unfortunately the world is not a perfect place so your last question really doesn't make much sense. Peace and God bless.

I would sacrifice a lot to prevent child abuse, but not my free will. Without freewill we would be like little remote controlled people. We wouldn't be people. Just automatons. There is good in the world and evil in the world. Each of us makes our own decisions and choices. Freewill doesn't cause evil anymore than it causes good. People cause the good or evil. People who make bad choices usually try to find a way to put the blame on something else rather than take responsibility for their own actions. We just all need to grow up.

Free will is the integral part or the soul or self and is only made available to the living entity in the human form of life within the material realm.
The human form of life is the opportunity to use that free will in a positive manner to revive the original spiritual body that is temporarily covered by a gross material body.
It is not free will that is good or evil, it is the way free will is utilised that is either good or evil, it is not the knife that is evil, if it used to murder someone, because that same knife can be used by a surgeon to heal, it is how we utilise our freedom of choice that allows us to develop into what we are.
If all we had to choose from were good choices, that means that no option for bad choice would exist, which would negate our perception of what is good and remove free will by proxy. Free will does exist and provides each individual to make good choices and advance in human life, the best advancement is to make spiritual advancement which is of benefit to the individual and the broader global community.
If the free will is abused then that individual living entity will be subjected to further rectification by having the privilege of being able to exercise their free will removed, this means that the soul or self descends into the lower species of life, where free will, or the privilege of being able to make a conscious choice between right and wrong, good and bad, is removed.
The other question that naturally arises from this is "why do bad things happen to good people"?, the short answer is they don't !!but to understand this means expanding individual view beyond the blinkered vision of this one life.
I think your question, is intelligent and reflects decency.

The reason free will is worth it is because of all the beauty that happens because people chose it.
I am glad I don't have to make to choice you ask about, because I am afraid I would be tempted to take the easy way out - and give up free will.
The thing that God can do with all the bad choices in the world is make something grow out of that evil that is good. But you can bet, when I get to heaven, I'll be asking him why her gave us free will.

Freewill is (in my opinion) so that God can determine those who will love and obey Him on their own accord without having it forced on them (prepatory to entering Heaven and ruling/reigning with Him forever). As for child abusers, that is part of the result of sin and will be dealt with.
As for a previous question where you asked, "why is God good" here is your answer:
1Jo 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
The reason that God is good, is because there is not even the slightest speck of evil/wickedness/sin in Him. Because there is no evil in Him, that is why He is good.
.... and that ain't bad!

Do you really believe that, if there is a god, free will exists?
Because he is supposed to know everything, the supposed god must also know the future. If he created the universe, and everything in it, knowing the outcome of everything the whole time, then EVERYTHING bad that's ever happened, HE meant to happen, because he still went ahead and made the universe anyway. Also, because he knows the future, and because each of us were supposedly made by him, he would also have known every one of OUR futures before he made us too. If our futures are known, meaning that they can't turn out any other way, then how is it possible that we have FREE WILL??? Also, since he would know all of our futures before we are even made, each time someone goes to, "hell," god MEANT for him to do that... That would make god evil...
There can be no such god as described in the bible... The very definition of that god contradicts itself...
If the supposed god knows everything, then when he made someone, he already knew whether that person would be a child abuser. Yet, the supposed god still made him anyway. That must mean that god approves of it, since he DID in fact make the guy...

Isn't abusing small children illegal? Aren't they punished criminally. What are you basing your definition of free will on?
Is freewill worth what?
Goodness, you've completely lost me.

It was clay and water with which God created Carl Sagan, the seed of living beings and among living beings, God created man. With an independent self, to put him in the test and to see, how he responds independently to the Commandments of The God, The Lord Almighty.
It was a perfect creation, with a perfect free discretion. God blessed him with a female to raise tribes and generations and to spread them on the earth and to address them always through The Lords messengers. God ordained for him and for his dependents a day of judgement and created heavens of his own choice and hells against his choice. So, O the Mankind! Always choose Gods will to be safe, because between God and you there is no one to affect the judgement of your Lord.
Listen to the Lord! All the tribes, generations and people. God blessed you with freedom of choice and captured you from the top of your head after your creation. God ordained death to declare the end of the test. Nothing is like this but the test ordained for you by your God, The All Able Lord.
Evil men and women always attempt to gain prosperity through negative decisions. That’s why; they commit sins and break the law__ of course, all wrong. The book of their deeds is the record of their life___ and is nothing but evil and evilish (devilish) acts. These men and women will gain nothing but loss here and hereafter.
Righteous men and women always attempt to gain prosperity through positive decisions. That’s why they commit good deeds, follow all kind of laws of humanity and are not a hindrance for anyone. The book of their deeds is the record of their life___ by the will of the Lord___ good deeds. These men and women will gain prosperity by the will of the God__ Our Lord, here and hereafter.
God created everything, the whole universe and then created ‘you’ and gave you the knowledge of good and bad. So do good, because God wants you to do good to meet the good of God.

Free will is to live by. Pedophiles, etc., are sick and need to be punished beyond comprehension. They are slaves to their sick minds and therefore have no free will.
To me free will is living life to it's fullest as long as you do not harm anyone else in any way while you are living life to it's fullest. Once a person is harmed from your actions, your free will is lost due to insanity.

Do you have the free will to "not sin?" Or does sin take your free will away? Thats the real question, think about it. Can you "not sin?" Can you refrain from the things you hold dear? do the things you own, own you? The truth is that sin takes away your free will to not sin, putting you and i on a downward spiral to hell. however God gaves the only two "pure" free will choices we have left; life or death, choose life, choose Yahoshua haMoshiach.
