I am the opposite, I pick my girlfriend over my friends, which also sucks, but I try not to do it too much. It is hard for some guys to manage their time well, and find time to spend with their friends and girlfriends. I think that guys should only have 2 or 3 really good friends and their girlfriend, the more people, the less time he will have for anyone.

In fact, guys do that cause if they arent getting a bIowjob from their girlfriends, they arent ineterested to hear about all your "feelings and problems". Sometimes they are just in the mood to chill with the boys. On the other hand, girls do that stuff alot more than guys do. So take some of your own medicine!

Some guys are peer pressured, smothered by their girlfriend or are just big jerks. Determine which one it is and try to fix it.
Peer pressure: Tell you bf to grow some balls, and tell him that you are going to start hanging out with your friends and blowing him off, the good 'ol I'll give him some of his medicine.
Smothering Gf: You need to get friends or hang out with your friends more and appreciate what it is like to hang out with them again and enjoy, you both need friends.
Jerk Syndrom: Well, give him the ultimatum, if he doesn't change, trade him in!

It's because they are immature and they think that their friends will no longer accept them if they choose a girl over them. Also, they are afraid of getting teased by their "guy" friends because choosing a girl over a guy is not the "macho" "masculine" thing to do.

You know this is a really good question; I have never personally done this....my daughter's ex-boyfriend did this all the time and it totally ticked her off....he even went so far as to demean her for wanting to spend time with him.....so I can understand what you are talking about...
I told her that any boy, who does this is not the boy for her and that she deserves more than this and should drop that clown where he stands......it took two years, and she finally woke up and smelled the roses....

I don't know, sometimes girls do it too, not just guys. Everyone needs time with their friends every once in awhile. You can't spend all of your time with the same person, it's not healthy.

Cause friends are for life!!! I would choose my friends over my boyfriend...matter a fact my friends have a say in if i should date a feller or not

i ask the same question myself sometimes, i havent gotten an answer yet but i think its also like us they think that wat their friends say are important and that ull always have ur friends even if u dont have a girlfriend anymore or they dont want to be made fun of by their friends

most of them do because they are not ready to settle down with a woman. they would rather be out having fun with the boys. some men never grow up.

cuz sometimes you wanna do things you cant do with your girlfriend and you can do with your guys. but for the most we spend it with our girlfriends, but we also like time apart for ourselves.
