First you need to straighten it. If you don't have a flat iron, then blow dry your hair on a low setting to avoid frizz, and comb your hair straight as you dry it. Then curl it as high up as you want with an curling iron or heated rollers. Start at the bottom and roll the iron or curlers up to the point that you want. Heat holds hair better than trying to style with cool. Make sure you use plenty of mouse or hairspray to help hold the style throughout the day.

I would take a paddle brush and blow dry your roots and brush your hair down and make sure you spray some sort of straightener on. THen get some hot rollers and just roll them halfway. Spritz them with some type of hairspray or gel, so they hold. I hope this works.
