God doesn't "need" us to worship him for his own good, he needs us to worship him for OUR own good. If we worship God we will be in the process learning his ways and what we should do to be good people, and by worshiping frequently we can take comfort in the faith that our worship will bring us good in life and take us to heaven after death. God is like a parent- your parent tells you to eat your veggies not because he "needs" you to, but because it's good for you, and God's the same way.

God doesn't need us he loves us and just like humans he likes being with people. God is a good God and if you were to live for him you would find that out and would want to worship him.

Good question, it'll be interesting to read some of the answers. See how they explain this one. Surely if he is all mighty then he wouldn't need us to worship him. And if he commands it because Jesus died for us, why did he send Jesus to die for us? Why didnt he just keep him home? obviously because he needs us to worship him! Wow maybe we have the power over God and not the other way around.

God wanted a family -- so He created man. Worship means fellowship -- relationship--expressing love for one another. God expresses His love for us and we express our love for Him. Worship is just loving on God -- because He is a Spirit -- we love Him in the Spirit -- Our Spirit becomes one with Him and we can feel HIs love when we praise and worship Him. God inhabits the praises of His people.

Its not like that at all. We are allowed to show if we are worthy of our place in heaven with him. When you truly love, you worship that person you think about them a lot and want to be close to them and praise them etc... God is an Awesome God!

God created people for someone to love. He just wants us to love Him back. What is wrong with that. Besides, He created us so we should worship Him! He is worthy of our worship, love adoration, praise and devotion. He gives us air to breathe and food to eat. He loves us, this is why He allows you to be defiant and reject Him, He wants you to come to Him because you recognize everything that He is, not because you are forced into it. The greatest gifts we have come from Him... free will, grace/forgiveness and love!

He doesn't need anyone to worship him. He just got tired of people that would follow him only because it meant immediate consequents to not follow him.
Basically, he got tired of angels just worshipping him because they had to worship him.

God doesnt "need" us to worship him its a command that we do it because of the sacrific that jesus made for us. remember that God said he could get the rocks and the trees to worship him. if things ever get that bad for us

He doesn't need any1 to worship him ... he doesn't need us we need him instead ...but his Mercy is so big the he give us the opportunity to worship him to worship the creator of all
