Most of Stephen King; Frank Perritti; Ted Dekker ( he has some awesome books, Blink, Three, White, Red, Black, When Heaven Weeps, the list goes on); WEB Griffin (pretty good war/political turmoil writer, on the lines of Clancy); several of Clancy's books; Chronicles of Narnia recently, Left Behind series. Haven't read anything but the Bible in the last month or so.

The most recent book I've read was "The Mermaid Chair". It was pretty good. I looked up the author and read the other book she had written and it was "The Secret Life of Bees". It was good too. I like how the writer writes. I highly suggest these two books.
If you read so much, you should know how to use a comma. :(

When I was a child I read all the Caldecott and Newberry books. Then Book of the Month club for children. Later, I started reading classics and then reading other books. The list is way too long to enumerate.

there's a good series, i've only read one book. it's called "piercing the darkness"........frank e peretti is the author. it's really good :).
also, mere christianity by CS Lewis is pretty interesting...as well as the Narnia books which is very bible-oriented.
:) my favorite, "eye opening" bible verses were Romans 5-8. not boring to me at all!
