Kim, it's pretty simple. More food is available to taller giraffes, since they eat tree leaves. In times of drought, only the very tall survive. and their genes were subsequently passed on.

What is so complicated about that, which makes you unable to understand it?

somebody slap "detecting it" and his science teachers.

The boy doesn't even know what evolution is, but he thinks that he's qualified to have an opinion on it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "attack evolution." If, however you are asking why people who believe in creation over evolution don't have scientific proof of their belief, then for starters, you have to realize that one of the major tenants in the Christian religion is faith in things unseen. Like, no physical evidence, but you still believe. Also, you might want to remember that evolution, like creationism, is still just a theory. Of course, there are physical pieces of evidence that would appear to back up the theory of evolution, (fossils, for instance) but it's just not conclusive proof. That's why it's still the THEORY of evolution, not the fact. Just one more thing; food for thought: Why do creation and evolution have to be mutually exclusive? The bible says God created the world in seven days, yes, but who knows how he keeps time? it could have been 7 million years for all we know -- time for him to create and perfect the process of evolution. Just a thought. Good night and God Bless.

As a fellow noodle worshiper, Church of the FSM for the uninitiated, I feel very much as you do, and hold them to be unenlightened in true rational thinking. The more they internally doubt their espoused views, the louder, pushier and more vocal they are, as if they believed that if the are able to convince even one other person than that somehow validates their belief system.

They believe in creationism so whole-heartedly that they refuse to believe that it could be anything but the work of a greater being. Same thing goes for those intelligent design fools.

Ann Coulter gives an excellent survey and intelligent review of the entire history of the evolution controversy in her book "Godless"
Whatever you may think of Ann or her political views, her discussion of evolution and intelligent design should prove informative and interesting.

Because there is none. It's as simple as that...

They are only clinging to outdated challenges to evolution that have long been proven incorrect.

I refer anyone who has objections to evolution to THIS site, and after, if they still have objections, talk to me...

http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/

(find the category under which your objection would appear, and read it)

because the argument against evolution is creation and as the creation theory is religious in nature, it has no proof. (religion is based on belief, not knowledge)

They think faith and belief in the divine will outlast solid physical evidence. They obviously failed biology in high school.

Ha ha ha! Nice one! I am a FIRM believer in evolution, the ONLY concept with any semblance of credible evidence.
