I'm a senior in high school & I'm taking AP Calculus, AP Govt./Econ, Anatomy & Physiology Honors, Spanish III, Psychology, & AP English Lit. On top of that, I have other extracurricular activities (I'm on 2 dance teams so I need to practice my moves at least 4 days a week, on varsity badminton, Honors Society, California Scholarship Federation, Key Club, Academic Decathalon, & tutor kids in an Elementary school). This spells out that I need to drop AP English (no time to read books inside out & write essays on them this year). But all the regular english classes are full & my request to switch out was denied. Please give me some good pointers to get out of that class & into a regular one. This is way too much 4 me to handle.
And I plan to become a dentist in the future...if u think I should hang on, should I continue taking this class...will it be significant to dentistry?...even though I'll be at my wits ends to keep up the grades (Calculus & Anatomy require so much attention too!)

Get out of AP Calculus and Govt/Econ instead; take regular Calc & Govt/Econ. You will need those AP English Lit skills in college.

Maybe consider dropping one of the dance teams (one less practice, one less preformance). You can also ditch tutoring other elem. kids right now so you have that time free to read literature and write papers!!!

It's all about priorities, and yours are spread way too thin!

Wow! It does sound like you have a lot on your plate.

I admire that you do so many activities, but would it be possible for you to drop one or some of those as opposed to AP Eng?
I realize AP Eng may not directly tie into your dentist future, but it may help with your critical thinking skills as you continue to analyze and think critically about various works of art (literature). Plus, it was my experience that much of the reading in AP Eng was rather enjoyable and did not seem like work at all (and English is not my field). Also, for more practical reasons, like you said it seems difficult to transfer out of this class.
Seems as though you may want to check out other options (than dropping this class).

Good luck tho....hope it works out. :)

You're so kwazie X_X
If you feel like you can handle the extra work, go for it and be like all those other students that have 7 ap classes and other stuff o_0...but if you need a class that doesn't require so much time and effort then you should consider it.

I'm in CSF too ^^

Drop one of the dance classes, Key Club or another extracurricular activity. You're over extending yourself & how you keep up is beyond me. Too much to do won't help your studies at all.

The language training is very essential for any International course especially English. You should decrease other topics activities but not English.Having so many kinds of works per day, improved already that you are apt to any kinds of those,so do not stop, but decrease one of them.
