I saw one on a dating show that was JUST like the hero of a romance novel - handsome yet mysterious looks, macho yet romantic attitude, and deep sexy yet gentle voice. Don't know if he managed it 24/7 or just for the cameras though. And every other guy on the show wanted to KILL him! That was three years ago, and I'm still in love ...

No. There are guys who may possess a couple of the same traits as Romance novel guys, but they'll never be exactly like them.

of course
but they are not your husbands or the guys you want to marry thats the point.
You have to go out of your element into danger.
Thats how I get wives, they see danger and that I have some control in the area I am from, this turns them on. They think I am going to treat them like shite but I treat them like queens and worship them which in turn makes them feel special as I deal with an iron fist with everyone else. I adore women, It is this very same fact that will not allow me to commit to one. Because there are many that tickle my fancy. There by lifting you up and leaving you wanting more, almost obsessed until you realize
we arent for marrying or anything other than a passion induced relationship.
sorry

*muffles laughter* no, but there are bound to be guys out there that have one or two of those traits seen in Romance Novel characters, just never having all of the traits at once. I think I just confused myself..

I think the possibilty is there. I just want the chance to prove myself. Nothing adventureous ever happens and I wish it did. I want to save my girlfriend from a crazy-maniac by running along the top of a train, dodging bullets and killing bad-guys! But... I just haven't had the chance, though.
I would do it for my girlfriend, though.

Ah... a hopeless romantic just like me. It's refreshing. Ummm. I think those guys do exist just in a more reality form...like they will have flaws. No man is completely perfect. Either they have the job...the money...the car...the charm...the looks...the everything.... but... they have a crazy baby mother or something like that. There's always a catch just like everything else.

heh i WISH! but there is no prince charming, unfortunately. no matter WHO you are with, you're gonna have problems (unlike those romance novels where EVERYTHING is perfect!) the world would be too dull if there were guys like that!

Doubt it. Fiction is just that fiction. Need a dose of reality? Or do you allready get it? Whatever men do exist just you have to find the right one. He's out there. I know mine is out there she's dying to meet me too.
