I take this to mean what is the sin committed daily. I would say lying would be at the top of the list, and your thoughts count too, so I really don't know.

The first thing that you should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

Think hard about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely to me.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created something imperfect, us.

One might assume that God could create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect. If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case then nothing that we can do could change Gods will unless we think that we are more powerful than God is. How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then Gods creations could hardly be considered to be imperfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection the God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense, a lie made up about God by religion.

I know from the bible that there are different levels of sin. The sins most wanted are the most frequented. Since a mate is one of the most fulfilling people flock to fornication or sex before marriage more often then most. Pride and self righteousness and hate are all up there and greed. I would like to propose this however. The ten commandments are split into 2 categories but ultimately one. The first 5 are God-ward and the second 5 are manward. For example dont use Gods name in vain or you will be held guilty is God-ward. Dont steal is man-ward but ultimately God-ward. So focusing on the sin against God which is worst because He is of most importance even though all sins are against Him, but specifically those directly. To sum up all the commandments it would take two. Jesus said "the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and second to love your neighbor as yourself. So i believe that the greatest and most common sin is not having an all out love for God. It dawned on me one day specifically in a movie theater. I looked around at the vast array of advertisement and movie adds with glamour and enticements. You know what, I did not find one thing in there about God! The knowledge of God is suppressed and the bible says the knowledge of Him is screaming because of creation there must be a Creator. Yet man does not give Him His honor and adoration. I have to say this that for the most part man hates God. How can that be? It is clear if one does not keep the law of God he does not love the law giver. Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments. The high and exalted essence of God holiness shows sin to be exceeding. Many know God for being loving, yet He is also holy and just and so powerful that it is dreadful. He is the Lion and the Lamb. It is said in the bible that if you break one of the least commandments you have broken them all, it is like a linked chain holding up a piano, if one link breaks the whole thing comes down. Stunningly Jesus said "if you look with lust you have committed sex in your heart", not that it is bad inside of marriage. He also said, "if you hate another person you have committed murder in your heart. So man needs to turn from sin and trust Jesus to frogive their sins since He died and paid our punishment. Not by good works can one get to heaven but only by the blood of Jesus because no one is good enough. I hope this was helpful.

Commandments are broken.
Sins are committed.

A commonly broken commandment is adultery, passing false witness, coveting (jealousy), not keeping day of sabbath holy.

The sin of Pride. Pride is what got Satan kicked out of heaven along with one third of all the heavenly angles.
Pride affects our lives every day. Our inability to forgive or say we are sorry, jealousy, vengeance, wrath, idolatry all have pride as the underlying cause or motivating factor

Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain.
Basically, many, many people swear or say "Oh, my God!" or something else, from fifth graders to the elderly. Then, I'd say the second most is "thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" (lying).

Murder.

We are at war after all, and when a terrorist runs into a daycare we'd better blow up the daycare. Can't have terrorists getting away can we?
