Good call. Question reality and take religion for the fairytale it is.

http://flushaholybook.com - you can flush religion, but still believe in your version of God.

The reason they don't talk about dinosaurs is because they didn't know they existed. I don't mean to ruin your undying faith in God, but dinosaurs are one of the most religion-killing aspects in the world. The reason dinosaurs were omitted was no accident. Religious people like to play it off, with little fake stories about how they where God's "first draft". To which a smart person would say, well, didn't he want them in his own image? Is he both like a human and a dinosaur?" The answer is no, and dinosaurs are real proof of the bible's lack of true credibility as any more than a ancient text that describes various cultures in mesopotamia. So while dinosaurs don't really prove there is no God, it does blow out all religions that base there faith of the bible (Christians and Jews)

The bible doesn't explain dinosaurs because there was never any dinosaurs. It doesn't explain how we evolved from apes because we never did evolve from apes. If you read in Genesis Chapter 2 Verses 7 or around there, it will tell you that God made the man (Adam) from the dust of the ground. Everything from the bible is true so if it's not in the bible then it can't be true.

If the Bible doesn't explain dinosaurs, why does it mention dinosaurs living among men? Yes you heard me. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible in the old testament. Dinosaur is a word that classifies large reptiles. The word was invented in the 18th century. Humans never evolved from apes. If that were the case, why are there still apes living among us? Apes all over the world had an equal amount of time to evolve like us.

If you took a Bible course and discovered what SCRIPTURAL TYPOLOGY is you would be amazed. If you knew what SALVATION HISTORY was in the Bible you would understand. If you recognized DIVINE AUTHORITY you would know that there has to be someone in authority to reveal the "secret" truths God has given. If you research all those phrases you will begin a journey of discovery that will last a life time.

We have a saying in Catholicism: the New Testament is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. There are many mysteries contained in the Bible that I have been amazed at discovering for the past 20 years and there is a whole lot more. St. Jerome said: Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. The whole Bible is about our SALVATION: Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament about the Messiah you can discover 50 of them in cd's IT IS WRITTEN.

WHEN YOU HAVE BEGUN TO DISCOVER THESE THINGS YOU WILL KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY MAN. Jesus (a historical figure along with others in the Bible that are not fictitional characters) by fulfilling just 50 prophesies makes the odds of doing that 10X135 power! An astronomical figure that could not have been achieved by human means.

The thing that might shock you and others is that SATAN used scripture to tempt Jesus. So, too Satan will use scripture to trip us up from following the true faith. This is why there has to be DIVINE AUTHORITY that passes from the Old Testament to APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION in the New Testament. This is why someone cannot Authoritatively pick up a Bible and correctly interpret it nor can there be millions of interpretors to HOLY SCRIPTURE. There can only be one! I can go into detail about that but I have sufficiently answered your great question. If you want to know more you can reach me.

The other night I was watching an argument for Creationism on PBS and he explained somewhat coherently. In the Bible it goes in order of the things God created; from the sea, to the land animals and so on. He said it followed the evolutionary chain, which I guess it did. Even though in the Bible it says he did this in 7 days the Bible used a lot of the same numbers repeatedly since they didn't know the exact days. So even though they it says 7 days it was more like a billion and a half. So each step was just a lot longer than one day. Yea, I am sketchy on that argument too, but its better than anyone else has given you.

Well, why not the Bible? Is it hard for you to believe that God(who is all powerful, all knowing, and omnipresent) created the world? And tell me... Why do you believe in evolution? I mean there's lots of things that disprove or question Evolution. Or, maybe I should put it this way: why is it easy for you to accept the "proofs" that evolutionists put out? Just to exercise your scientific/independent mind, pick one proof they have and try to disprove it yourself. I found out that it was easy to poke holes into them if you tried. Ask me a few things about evolution and expose it for the myth that it is. And my suspicion is that God didn't need to tell people through the Bible because he knew that science would(in the end) disprove evolution altogether. And you other people out there... Don't tell me the Bible is just ancient junk that has nothing to do with science. there's quite a few passages that talk about the universe and its laws. And those scientific facts were written in the Bible long before they were discovered. For example: it says in the Bible that the earth "hangeth upon nothing" and it was right... it does hang on nothing... It also says in the Bible "for the life in the flesh is blood"... Who discovered blood sustained life many, many, many centuries later? Harvey... Just read the doggone book first with an intelligent/observant mind before criticizing it. The Bible isn't meant for scientific discourse, but it had some pretty good scientific facts even before they were comprehended by great scientists. What does that tell you? It is pretty clear that the Bible's intent and purpose was to communicate God's heart not His science. I tell you though, that whenever the Bible claimed anything close to science, unanimous science (even today's real science) does not contradict it.

The Holy Bible, does explain and tell you how the animals all was put on the Earth. In the King James version of the Holy Bible, start reading the book of Genisis. Then continue on into the Old Testement. You well find out all that you are searching for. Take care and may God bless you and give you the Wisdom you desire.

missing bible verse
Genesis 1 : 0 "In the begining the dinosaur said "Let there be God", and there was God. Then God killed the dinosaur accidently while trying to scratch his foot. So he made apes"
This also explains why God appears to not be all that powerfull after all.
So, dinosaurs do not prove the bible is wrong, they actually prove it right.

whew....harmonizing isnt it

When the bible was written no one on earth knew that the dinosaurs had lived so they were never mentioned. It rather points to the bible being made up stories because "god" would have known about them and included them in the story, now wouldn't he?

God created dinos too. Then when we had the event of Noah's flood, the dinos came off the boat and the environment had changed. (how could the environment NOT change after a 40 day flood that covered the earth and killed all living beings on the planet?) The dinos couldn't adapt fast enough and died.

there do exist accounts of some dinos being around during the old testament (i think in david's psalms? particularly of a gi-normous crocodile), but there are no such accounts in the new testament, as i recall.
