I always think of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (hope I spelled that right) when I hear "Jackie"

She was very quiet and feminine, but had serious presence.

Its a beautiful name!

If your naming your girl Jackie..take it from a mom...yell it a few times really loud. Then say.. Jackie, get down from there! Jackie, come here! Jackie.... Jackie, come here, please. Jackie, get over here!
Jackie, can you please stop making all that racket! Jackie, stop that! If you still like the name ..then go with it. Cause your going to be hearing it and saying it a lot.

Seriously, congrats on the baby girl. She'll change your life for the better and you'll wonder how you got along in life without her.

It's an ok name. Probably depends on the country your from. I might have to disagree with the strong part though. You are using the diminutive ending "ie" generally that puts a small cute focus on the subject.

Read Freakanomics - there's an in depth study into how social outcomes are dependent on names (it's also got a lot of other cool stuff!) Basically it finds the only thing a child's name is a useful indicator of is the education and wealth of the parents, your child will do as well with any name.
