I am a Jew that became a follower of Christ when I was 42. I was a reform, secular Jew. This is roughly the same as saying you are French. It is a heritage not really a religion. Definitely it was not a belief system. The official website for reform Judiasm states the doctrine of the religion. Belief in God is not required. That kind of says it all. I guess I would choose to be an orthodox Jew if I had to still be a Jew. At least they believe in God and practice works they believe God likes.

I'd be a Humanistic Jew. That way I could celebrate my Jewish roots and all the holidays and traditions without being shackled to outmoded and often nonsensical and even immoral religious regulations.

I am an Orthodox Jew, since if there is a G-d, who wrote the Torah, shouldn't we follow it?

I'd be orthodox (and I am) because that' what judaism is about. All other movements are about slowling diminishing judaism to meet one's lifestyle or desires.

I am reform.

That is how I was raised.
