can legal action be taken for an executor who steals from the estate? PROBABLY, BUT THE ATTY. MAY HAVE BEEN VERY CAREFUL TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE AN OVERSIGHT OR AN ACCIDENT, SO NEGLIGIENCE IS ABOUT ALL THAT WOULD STICK.

can the lawyer from our fathers estate represent my father and the executors ? SURE, BUT IF THE ATTY. IS BEING INVESTIGATED AS WELL, HE'D BE WISE TO BOW OUT OF THAT CASE.

Happens all of the time - often times it's
friends of the judges who become the executors, strip the estate clean, sell stuff cheap.

Very hard to prove anything beyond negligence, because you have to prove it was deliberate. And you'll go in front of the same judges that made their friends executors.

You can hire an attorney to try to stop the pillage, but it's hard to get an executor out of the picture. Depending on how much money, may be worth it.
