It cannot be a Yes or No answer. What are the circumstances? Is the Mother in jail or otherwise indisposed and incapable of raising the child? Does the grandmother object to having to raise the child?

Need more info on the question to give a proper response. However, if it is a straight up question of who should raise the child, then it is the Mother.

That makes no sense. If your asking if a grandma should raise her daughters child then no..It's not her responsiblity...It's the daughters. But alot of the time grandma's do so the child stays in the family and isn't in the foster care system.

I believe that the mother should be the one to raise her own child. A grandma has already been through the experience of raising a child so why should she.

If the mom is unfit or doesn't want to raise the child than it would be okay. Only a person that wants to raise a child should. They take a lot of dedication, time, and patience.

A mother should raise her own child it is her responsibility not the grandmas! UNLESS the mother is an unfit mom.

Depends entirely upon the family situation of the mother in question. Unfortunately, not really a Yes or No situation here.

I'm still wondering how to answer an "or" question with a "yes or no"??

THIS or THAT? YES!

Duhhhhhhhh........

Mom's should raise the kids unless unfit or incapable. Grandkids are supposed to be Grandma's revenge! ;-)

No... if a mom has kids, she has to be responsible for care them. Grandmas can help when moms are in school or working, but they don't have to grow them up.
