Only ask her about specific issues related to the subject. Make sure she knows that you expect to earn an 'A' and that you are holding her 'feet to the fire' to make sure she tells you what is required to do that.

Then, make your 'A' and keep going; it does not matter what thoughts or feelings teachers have as long as they do their job, and if you make it clear that you're aware of that, you can get effective teaching from anyone.

I understand you completely! When I was in high school I had an English Teacher who was black and I am white. I, at that time, lived in a community where whites were the minority. And believe me my teacher let me know it and feel it. She didn't like me a bit along with the other white students. I still think of her to this day and pity her for her behavior. I made it through the year but barely. I was always excelled in English but, in her class I received a D. Seems a little funny considering I started the next year in a regular English class and then was quickly moved to Honors English. Unfortunately this is probably going to be an early lesson for you in how to deal with difficult people. If you are not able to move to a different class then you will surely learn a lot from her ignorance. Good luck to you and God bless!

Talk with the principal and say that you think your teacher has something against you... if that does no good then tell your parents and maybe they could go to the school and talk with the teacher. Or you could just flat out tell the teacher to take the stick out of her asss.

I know how you feel.
Last year my math teacher HATED me, and no one else. I didn't even do anything! I knew it was because she hated my big sister. But I couldn't do anything about it because she taught at a different school when she was teaching my big sister. So pretty much, I just had to deal with it.
And, on the last day I'm at that school, I'm going to shout out to her: "FŬCK YOU, BÌTCH!!"

saddle up for a long year. and show her you are not stupid. stick it to her. smile and turn everything in to the absolute best of your ability. no matter what you do in life there will be ppl in a higher position than you that seem to be out to make your life suck. just work hard and the year will be done b4 you know it. or you could learn voodoo. even better DO BOTH

this is what you do, get a small sound recorder and after a class or when you are alone with the teacher, engage her in a conversation and really grate her nerves and see if she slips up and calls you a nasty name. then take that tape home, then call a tv station and play it for them, she will be gone by the end of the week, good luck!

Work hard, do all your homework, put your assignments in on time and keep out of her way. If you don't draw attention to yourself, she won't bother you.

its funny how blacks can do this to whites and get away with it, but whites can't do it to blacks.
