the only band i can think of that had a member assassinated was the Beatles when lennon was shot outside his new York apartment in december 1980...the only problem is Mccartney and Starr are still alive...the only other rock musician i can think of that was assassinated was dimebag from pantera, but everyone else from the band is alive
below someone said lynyrd skynyrd, but i know that is incorrect because they have had 6 band members die over the years and none of them were assasinated...liver disease, plane crash, etc, but no assassination!
