I uninstalled Office 2003 60-day trail on my friends brand new computer and now when I try to install Office 2000, it says I have a newer version of Office and won't install.

find the folder that says microsoft office.
rename it to office2

reboot your pc and then install the new version.
the UNINSTALL program doesn't take everything off.

U should be able to add remove trial under ur add remove program then reboot and install office 2003 .. .I just tried 2007 wasnt impressed lol Thanks Bill
