1. Wash your face in warm, not hot water. It opens pores and softens hair.
2. Pat dry, never rub. A pre-shave lotion is optional, but recommended.
3. Use a good shave cream or gel, lather against the grain to help the hair to stand up.
4. Shave with the grain for less ingrown hairs. Make sure you always have a clean sharp blade. Rinse after the strokes, don't beat it on the side of the sink. It can chip the blade.
5. Rinse with cool water to close the pores again.
6. Pat dry, don't rub.
7. Use a good moisturizer to keep your skin softer and the roots less noticeable.
Try Gillette for a complete line of men's skin care and shaving products.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

after you go around your leg once with a razor, check to see if you missed any hair by moving your hand up your leg. if it feels smooth every where, you got it all. if it feel prickely in some spots, go over it with the razor.
P.S. on the outer side of your thighs, the hair grows a different way then every place else (it grows up instead of down).
