First of all congratulations on your engagement!
I know this is going to sound odd but it works.
Visit your local paint store or Lowe's, Homedepot, etc and visit their paint department. They have just about every shade ever made. Take different samples of the colors that you thing go together best and see what your wedding party thinks.
When you finally decide on the colors that you like if you cannot find the dress combination in the store visit your local seamstress and see what he/she can do for you. The majority of the time their price ends up being less verses buying off the rack.
Please visit our website and sign our guestbook letting me know if I helped.

There are many shades of green around that are beautiful, without being sage. Apple green and lime green are VERY popular.
I'm a consultant/designer and pair lime green with hot pink and orange. In fact, about 1/3 of the weddings we do right now are this color scheme. Very trendy, very now. If you end up with a vivid shade of green this would work.
If you end up with a pastel shade, lavender and coral with a touch of purple would be very nice. Stay away from rusty shades of orange unless you choose a date much closer to fall -- these shades go better with sage (gray-green) dresses, something to remember.
Yes, as suggested, white and creams would be pretty for the girls to carry if you carry a bouquet with the shade of green of the girl's dresses in it, along with complimentary shades of green.
Look through some pictures. Notice what catches your eye FIRST. Go with that. If you labour over this -- or another decision -- you will make your wedding a chore for yourself and others around you. It should be FUN!

Alfred Angelo has pistacio colored dresses. And it comes in separates too, so the bridesmaids can choose the dresses that will look best on them if that's something you're okay with.
Lavendar/light purple look very nice with those shades of green. I'd stay away from oranges because that color will not look good on your bridesmaids. You won't be happy if no one looks good in your pictures.
Also, please keep in mind that these are not serious wedding issues. You need to keep some perspective, or the really serious issues (like the guest list and budget) are going to blow you over.

The green will be tricky. I'd go with an orange or coral. Coral/Rust is the one color that looks best on the majority of women. It would look fantastic with a pop of yellow or a rich brown. Plus, think of all the fantastic flowers that you could use!

If you want to use the color pistachio then I'd go with either white or maybe even a lavender purple. Cause i think either of those 2 colors will look good with that color green. good luck

A friend of mine just gor married and her bridesmaids had on turquoise. It is a modern color and it looked beautiful. Oranges remind me of Halloween, so I think that would be ugly. But a peach color might be nice. I don't know, you have very picky taste.

If you go green...I would go with white, creams, yellows. maybe a peachy-orange. It will be nice---safe---but kind of boring. If you go with orange, contrast it with garnet red, fushia or dark pinks--jewel tones. I actually think that combo is really sweet, lively and bold. Full of life. Here is a great article I found that gives some really interesting color combos. http://www.kfvs12.com/Global/story.asp?S=2955944

I'm not being funny or anything but I find that the shade of green you are looking for is best with white! it looks so fresh, crisp and clean! I love the combo! Simple sometimes is better!
