In Singapore horse racing there is always bumping, interfering, blocking and crossing the path so that the outside horse will be more outside and less chance of winning.

Not in the US. It is a guaranteed loss and probable revoking of jockey's license. In addition if the bumped horse is injured and has to be killed there would be a law suit of unbelievable size.

Bumping can cause the horse to be disqualified. The officials (called stewards) at some tracks are more strict than others.

Not in America. That is interference, and the horse and rider are DQ'ed.
