To me family means that they're always going to be in your life no matter what. Family means that they love you for who you are and will always stick by your side through thick and thin. A family will never leave you hanging. A family is a pack, a bond.

Family is a bond between individuals that cannot be broken. By blood, sweat, tears, etc.... it's a relationship that says " I got your back no matter what forever." To say I don't want to get in the middle of whatever the situation is unacceptable! Family is Love, you know the true meaning - I Corinthians 13. Family is a bond that is slowly fading in our world today. I have heard it all. "Whatever you need, just call, I'll be there, It doesn't matter what time just call." Family means no judgement, always forgiving and never left hanging. Today's world everyone is to busy or we don't want to get in the middle or some other self-serving excuse. BULLSHIT! If you need me I will do what ever it takes. Sometimes it may not be immediate but I won't forget you and I will do anything I can within my power and If I can't you will still have my support to try and find more help elsewhere. That is true family. Them first me last. It may be a martyr but so what. If we all served others before ourselves the world would have a much better balance. Jesus martyred himself for us but I have had people tell me you martyr yourself for your children's needs over yours, you shouldn't do that. BULLSHIT!! All parents should for there kids. All you people who claim Christianity but still put yourself first need wake up! Jesus is family! There is your definition like it or not!

A family consists of the people you've known for a long time, who are always there for you. Note that this doesn't necessarily apply to someone you're actually related to. Who hasn't had a beloved "aunt" that turned out to be a family friend rather than a relation, or a "brother" who doesn't share parents with you? These people are family, certainly more so than a cousin you never see and can't stand.

I define it as spending vacation talking a spending time together also it means that u will love your family no matter what u should even if they are mean too u

Any group of people that uphold a values and belief system agreed upon or inferred, supporting each other and respecting each others space and acting as true friends. This would do me for a Family...

Family is the people you HAVE to hang out with regardless how you feel about them.
... think about it. If you don't like someone you are friends with, you don't invite them over (or go over to their house) for holidays or special occasions. Right?
you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.
