This is a good question. You have to be careful with chicken. Here are the guidelines to follow. When you bought it-did you buy it frozen or fresh? What was the 'best before date' in the supermarket? chicken can be kept in the fridge for at least 3-5 days at fridge temperature. If the chicken was thawed completely in the fridge you can keep it up to three days provided it was not originally stored for more than three days in a fridge before being frozen.
Therefore, if you brought it home unfrozen from a meat shop or supermarket and put it straight in the freezer and removed it and put it in the fridge to thaw, it will be good for three days from the date it thawed. Usually it will take one day to thaw in a cold fridge so count four days from the date you took it out of the freezer.
So, yes, it will be good in one or two days, definitely. I studied this for three years and I'm a mom of four-I wouldn't take chances with my kids health and I do this all the time. Thawing in a fridge is the safest way-it prevents bacterial growth. Remember one other thing, always smell your chicken before cooking, if it's bad-it will smell bad. When cooking sometimes bad chicken smells also. To tenderize your chicken and kill bacteria, wash the chicken in water and white vinegar. Then rinse, season and cook.

it depends on when you first started to thaw your chicken. If you took it out one or two days ago, be sure to smell it for any 'off; odor and should it feel extremely slimy, discard. To ensure proper cooking use a meat thermometer and cook until 158F and let the bird rest after cooking so that carry over heat will boost the temperature to 165F leaving you with moist juicy chicken... instead of dry cardboard which no one likes. hope this was of some help. And the old saying is: "When in doubt, throw it out"

It should be fine if you just thawed it today. I would take it out of the refrigerator, rinse it and make sure it does not smell bad, then put it in a large zip lock bag or bowl filled with water and add some salt and herbs if you like. Or you could make up a rub or marinade, which if it has the chance to sit overnight should make for a wonderful dinner tommorrow night. Salt and pepper everyone has. You could marinade it in salt and a mixture of herbs. Lemon Pepper is good. BBQ is Good, Soy Sauce is Good, but do not use all of these together, pick one and go with it.

If your fridge is about 42 - 45 degrees and the chicken has been thawed < 3 days you should be OK. However, if you take it out and find the chicken slimey, with a strong oder, just pitch it.

Yes, it is good but it depends how long you have let it thaw. If you thawed it out yesterday and it totally thawed out, then it is ok. If it has been a while, check for foul smell and discoloration

Yes if it was frozen and you thawed it today. I wouldn't keep it much more than 24 hours.
