first cut your hair like a trim of the split ends like 1 or 2 inches above the split ends and then dont straight your hair alot either only like once a week or every other week cause i have really curly hair and i just put a perm in it so i learn my lesson if you got split ends bad then stop and cut ur hair and let it grown and then straigh your hair less then wat your doing now.....

Blow drying is much worse than the iron (though neither are good, if you can avoid them) Like you, I unfortunately can't. So if you feel you still want to straighten your hair here is what I do, and I have hardly any split ends....
Shower at night (late at night) wash and condition as usual. Recently I have tried the new Herbal Essences Pin Straight hair shampoo and conditioner and am very pleased with it. After you are done showering squeeze out the excess water (try not to towel dry) and apply a few to several pumps of Frizz-Ease. comb it through hair and then put your hair up in a tight bun. Over night it will dry and will remain soft and will still have its moisture (blow drying is quicker, but it leaves hair dried out and blah!!) then take a flat iron and run it though your hair in chunks. This process is fast since your hair is soft and mostly dry.

You sound JUST like me. Well, first things first, you can't "cure" those slipt ends. The only way to help your hair is to cut those ends up entirely, before they start to split even more towards your root. Secondly, for hairstyles...just go natural. Try blowdrying your hair curly when you're hair is damp. When you're hair is damp, at a little bit of hair serum, a little mousse, and some of the hair products from the Sunsilk like. Like the anti-poof or frizz-control. They'll calm down those ways a little atleast. Good luck, sweetie! I hope your hair turns out great!

well, what i always like is a high ponytail with the bangs to the side. I have very short curly hair and this look always works for me. another thing you can do is cut the split ends off... i cut my hair not that long ago it was to the mid of my back and it was all fried, like yours probably, and i cut it to my shoulders but its soooooooo healthy now that i dont want to straighten it anymore it looks lovely curly.
hope it helps
oh i would love to see the before and after pics.... !!!

If you're using a ceramic flat iron, that is actually good for your hair. Blowdrying is pretty bad unless you use an ionic dryer, which is a little better. You didn't mention the length of your hair. I think curly hair is soooo cute.
