So, I went out on a date with a guy a few months ago. He called me a week or so after the date.We both just got out of a serious relationship just weeks before we went out. We chatted online for awhile but not so often. Then a few weeks ago he just shows up at my house and wants to go for a ride. So I do, he gives me a good night kiss and goes on.......... And now he IMs me everyday. And we chat,But Im not sure if he is interested.I always thought that if I guy was interested in you he WOULD ask you out. Because I know when I want something I go for it. What do you all think? Thanks............

Well most guys that I have dated didn't ask me out but we just sort of started acting like a couple and it went from there. It was just kind of understood that we were together. I would think he is interested if he IMs you all the time, etc. Just show him that you are very interested. A lot of guys don't like to ask people out because it shows a weakness and makes them vunerable.

Well, guys are confusing, thats for damn sure! haha. But i would say from what it sounds like, he is definitely interested, and probably just shy, or afraid of rejection. Like you were saying when you want something you go for it...you should! Maybe just ask him, flat out. I mean if he isnt interested why is he kissing you goodnight? You could also hint around to let him know that you are interested, and see how he reacts! thats the best ive got, hope it helps :)

i dont know about being intrested , but if I like spending time with a girl then I just pop up at thier place and ask them like him, it could be that he is emotionally vulnerable because his last relation was serious, I normally dont kiss a girl if she is just a friend , I guess he is....

My experience has been that guys generally don't like to show or discuss emotional things, so your answers is, if he keeps coming back for more he's interested in one way or another.

It seems like he likes you, but is shy despite everything. Just shy enough for it to be hard for him to use the L word. If you want it go for it! =) Make a move, I bet he'll agree.
