Have you ever broken up with someone because you lost interest and found someone whom you thought was better, only to realized that what you had was better?

When I was in my teens, yes. I thought the grass was greener on the other side of the hill... but I've since realized that every person has positive qualities and negative ones... and that after the first couple of years in a relationship sometimes things cool down and you *THINK* that all of these other, new and seemingly exciting, people will be better... not necessarily true.

You have to remember, now that you're looking back at your past, that you may only be remembering the positive attributes of the former partner.

Everything happens for a reason. If you were meant to be with that person than you would be. Learn from your experiences and move forward... wiser for it all.

No. There is always a reason es's are ex's. And I seem to be reminded of that reason whenever I bump into my ex's.

There is an old flame I hang out with from time to time, but would never consider starting up something serious with him.

It's possible for a person to change, but it takes time, don't be fooled by the same moves in a slightly different package.

Grass always looks better on the other side ,but 9 times out of 10 it's really not.I believe once you are an X you should stay that way, there has been enough hurt involved you both should move on and think twice be for you decide to cross the field for greener grass.

Yeah a few times actually. It was the same guy that I went back too twice but it never worked out because I wasn't over the other person completely and ended up hurting him by placing him second best to the other person.
