My fancy cell phone was stolen, What should i do??

Question

today during gym my cell phone was stolen from the locker room. Lockerroom was looked, but somebody managed to take apart the lock on the door and opened it. Anyway 10 dollars and my 400 dollars cell phone was stolen. Coach gathered all guys in the locker room and scared everybody that whoever did that is better to return the phone, or he'll cal the cops. Than he walked me out of the locker room and said that cops won't look for my cell phone because i'm noot allowed to have it with me at school. After that he said that everybody can go the class and took me to the school officer. All the officer did was just collecting my data, cell phone model and it's price. He told me that there nothink he can do about
( they have ******* survelance cams everywhere, but video doesn't get recorded!!! what for they need them?!!!!!) i bought my phone on ebay (unlocked) so my cingular phone insyrance won't cover it. Anybody please give me an advice - i don't know what to do. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my cell is locked by code, so i u turn it off, u can't turn it on without the code, wich only know. They turned off the phone - i tried to call it

so basicaly nobody but me can use the phone unless they can hach the code, wich i thing ******* morons who stoled my phone can't do

They have to sell it somewhere if they can't use it, and nobody will buy it if they can't operate it anyway. Call around to the local pawn/buy-sell-and-trade places and give them your phone info: if anyone tries to sell it, they'll intercept it and contact you.

Spread the model and phone info around school and popular hang-outs, too, in case anyone is offered it. I bet if you offer a $50 reward, the same losers who stole it will try to claim the reward since they can't use or sell it.

Other than that, I don't know. They may just throw it out.

report it to the company you bought it from and the police.... most phones now have gps tracking and they can tell where your phone is almost exactly..... plus then you can't be held liable for any calls that they might make

Call your service provider and tell them your phone was stolen, and get your service disconnected.

carry a couple quarters for pay phones, dont expect cops to do anything to help you, not if it involves them doing anything harder than ordering a donut.

Call the Phone carrier you have and cancel it before someone uses it..If you have cinglar,verison..etc..call THEM NOW!!!!!
