You don't want anything do with the opposite sex. Your mind tells you to forget about it, but your hearth says "Please give that person a chance, consider it please". Who should I listen to instead? My pancreas?

You should make sure it is really your head and your heart talking. Sometimes it's your friends or your libido, maybe your imagination.
Hold out for a person that you enjoy spending time with, and see where it goes from there. Don't bother with the ones that make you feel confused, or bad about yourself - it only hurt you in the end.

Are others made out of sugar or something? Are you a Diabetic. You have to do what is best for your health when it comes to pancreas decisions. However, when it comes to decisions of the heart, listen to your heart, and give people a chance. If you do not think it is the best for your heart, then protect yourself from hurt, and stay away.

Your pancreas might not be able to help you, lol. It all depends why you two broke it off in the first place and how many chances did you give him. Also, think about if it will ever change. Take some time and really think about this. Good Luck!

Your mind should be in control in the beginning...with the understanding that you will decide when and who to open your heart to love... you have to,you know- take that chance on love because a life without love is a lonely life.But once you fall in love, your feelings will tell your mind what to do- but it is worth the journey to find that perfect soul-mate who will make life truly wonderfull. And if you are looking for a relationship of more than three months, you have to consider possible offspring. Would you want to burden your kids with inferior genes?

that's just the way it is. your heart can be like your fantasy, but your mind sets you straight and allows you to reason as to why you should NOT do something. however, if you ask enough people or if you think long enough about it, your mind might tend to agree with your heart sooner or later

ummm talk to your best friend ask her what she thinks of the guy and if your best friend is a guy then ask him
if they totally hate the guy listen to your head but if they say you should go for it or well at least try
listen to your heart
dont do what i did tho
i got a guy then he dumped me ..
and i keept trying to get him back but in one day he and his friends have made my girl life at school miserable on getting a guy ..
be careful on what you chose the best advice you can get if your friend is away or you dont have one
is your mom talk to her she hast to know something about this
