The best one was my friend. The caller asked "is Mr Surname there" he said "no he's dead" "oh sorry, Is Mrs Surname there" they replied. "no she's dead to", "oh, well may i speak to the house owner then please", "err, hang on" then he put the phone down, and started banging on the floor, went back to the phone and said "Sorry their dead too" then hung up. It was funny at the time.. lol. but i just like to say yes hang on i'll just get them for you, and leave the phone off the hook untill they hang up.

no matter if it really is double glazing or safe practices Alarms - say you do not own the resources. no matter if it really is Jehovahs Witnesses - say you're aetheists no matter if it really is a telephone sales call - tell them you're with the TPS (telephone selection service) and also you'll record their organization for contacting you. Then connect the TPS as this would end telephone sales calls in destiny! no matter if it really is someone promoting kinfolk products, tell them you'll change your previous one for a sparkling one, yet no money will replace fingers! no matter if it really is an power service salesman, tell them you're in ordinary words vacationing the resources for the day! That is going for all different sales persons too!

Go to the National Do Not Call Registries website to register your telephone number so you won't have telemarketing phone calls.

I usually say, "hey yeah I really want one of those" then put the phone down on the side and let them do the whole sales pitch and waste their company phone bill a bit.... Nasty, but funny, sometimes I even pick it back up and say, "oooo, tell me that bit again"

You're best bet is to, as a previous poster mentioned, tell them that you are registered in the National Do Not Call Registry, and that they need to remove you from their lists. Even if you are not, they need to do so anyway, and they will end the call quickly to avoid possible fines (up to $1000!).
Just tell them "I'm sorry but I'm registered in the National Do Not Call Registry, please remove me from your lists" They will most likely respond with a "Sorry" and hang up.
In the meantime, get yourself on the DNC Registry!
