Wow! I was prepared to come here and answer your question all serious and then I read the 2nd part of the question and started laughing!!! ok.... to the serious part now, I really don't think that's a good approach for a girl 14yrs old... I don't know if you remember when you were that age... but I do!
Anyways... unless you're planning to tell her this *laughing* , you know, as a joke but *read-between-the-lines* joke, then it might be a good comment to throw her way, with a good laugh!
But if you're serious, then don't ! She'll just go running towards that prohibition.

I can imagine that, as a parent, you would certainly feel that way but the best thing to do it to open a dialogue with her about sex and relationships and all that good and painful stuff. I am sure it will be difficult but this is part of letting go as a parent. She is growing up and you are losing your little girl.
But you have to remember what it was like to be her age. Sex and boys and all that flirting is fun, confusing, emotional etc...but it is all part of the process to choose a life partner.
The best thing you can do is talk to her and help her learn from your valuable experience. Teaching her that you will kill who she is will will only encourage her to hide what is going on in her personal life. But by giving her the skills to be able to see thru the crap so many boys will toss her way is the best defense she can have.
Certainly also admit to yourself that at some point in the very near future she will have sex. But by the same token, teach her to insist that the boy always use condoms... not just the pill (if you decide to go that route). STDs are very prevalent in young people because they just were never really educated as to how easy they are to get.

I don't think so! I'm sure that's something she will keep in her mind forever and psychologically could ruin her normal sex life when the time comes. You should just be honest with a 14 year old girl when talking to her about sex. Scaring her is definately not the way. Good Luck...I've been there with 3 daughters!

Show her some pictures of STDs, those are really gross!! Also have her watch some videos of childbirth. Talk to her openly about the dangers of having sex , I mean you know she will eventually have sex, you just want her to be educated about her decision.

Ya go ahead and tell her. Then 10 years later she'll say to her husband I cant have sex with you honey or my mom will kill you.

thats horrible for u to try and run ur daughters life given the guy she's with... granted she is 14 and u are her mother... but give her a better reason than "I hate him!" ... give her stats and dangers and STD's... but not prejudice

not a good aproach, say the consquences, like STD's, and that the probality of her doing it is like really high (it'd help if u got like a real percentage) and she'll regret it when she gets older like get her to imagine she was married, and how embarrsing that'd be no matter how "cool" its seems now

Maybe you should consider having a mature and responsible conversation with her. I'd resent my mother if she said something like that to me and I wouldn't believe her because it sounds crazy.
