Okay, i have a boyfriend who lives in greenvile (goes to college) and i live in clayton, and i get upset ALL the time because he drinks ALL the time, even if he is with his friends because they bought a kegorator.. should i be that mad all the time? or what can i do to fix it i need HELP BAD!

Okay this is just a edited version because i didnt make myself clear, im in love with this boy we;ve been dating 6 months, and he just moved to greenville for school and i live in clayton, i understand that he wants to have fun, but he drinks ALOT all the time and always puts me on hold to play his stupid games. it upsets me and i cry myself to sleep sometimes. i just dont know what to do about it, i've tried several things like i told him to only drink maybe 3 times out of the week or.. not to call me if he drinks. i dont know nothin has seemed to work and not long ago he lied to me about it. im going crazy and dont know what to do!

being the daughter of an alcohoic father who is now dead becasue of drinking,,,i think you need to find a new man because he sounds like he likes drinking way too much. you dont want to be stuck with a person like that, if he gets help for himself thats one thing. but by the sounds of it he could care less what you think or if you get mad. find a new man!!!

You need to first understand why you are getting mad. Is it because you are concerned for his health or do you just dislike his drinking? Once you have done this you need to talk to him about the issue. Hopefully this will get him to change or allow you to understand and accept why he drinks so much. If there is no change then I think you should considering moving on because you can not be mad all the time.

If he has to drink all the time, everyday, then he is an alcoholic. AA really helps, but he has to determine for himself that he can't drink.

if you are mad and worry about him and you had been trying to help him talking and explaining and he doesnt want to change FORGET ABOUT HIM!!! he is not going to change , he will do it (if he does) when he wants, dont waste time trying to help someone that doesnt want your help, living with an alcoholic is like hell, you live all day worried, crying, i dont think it is life, and i dont think you deserve a life like this

no, never it is a problem, especially drinking alcohol! Let him GO! drink what or how much he wants to drink!

your jealious cuz your not with him.if you dont trust him you should not be together. and yes alcoholism is very real and if you think he needs help then talk to him but if you dont trust him then you shoul not be with him
