Ok, I called this one guy, (i have aabsolutely no idea if he likes me or not) to see if he wanted to go to a dance with me. I left a message on his cell phone.
Boys if it were you, would you call back right away, or wait a few days??
Also, Lets just say, you don't want to go with the girl, would you call back and say sorry I am going with some one else
or would you just not call back and hope she forgets about it.

If I had to think about whether or not I wanted to I would still call the girl back either way. It's the right thing to do to give the girl time to ask someone else or be asked by someone else if you're not going to go with her.

I'd never call beck right away...not matter how much I liked the girl. I'd wait at least a day, maybe two. And would never bother with the call to say no or sorry I'm going with someone else..

Good manners should be that he calls you back and lets you know one way or the other if you wants to go to the dance with you or not. Give him some time and if he doesn't call back, be happy that you didn't get stuck with an immature and insensitive date. Go with your girlfriends and have a great time!

I think, dear, that if he has not called back, he is a rude jerk AND he is not going to the dance with you....and think about it...would you want to go to the dance with him now? I certainly wouldn't . Good luck, and the next time you ask someone out, do it to their face, not on a phone message. At least you can move on if they cannot go. People have all kinds of reasons for NOT going out with someone, often, they are already busy...but they owe it to you to at least say 'No thanks, I am busy that night." ok, all guys are different, he probablt call back in a day or 2. Be patient. If it were me, i would call back and say i wouldn't go, because i already have a girlfriend. I wouldnt just leave you hanging, but thats just me, just wait and see what happens
