I definately think it should be legal. I have three close friends who have had abortions that ruined their lives. It would have been much easier to have taken the pill then deal with the abortion process. Any for all of you hypocrits!...two of them were raped. They would have never loved the children the same. Some people need the pill and abortions to help them during crisis. BUT I also think that it should be mandated on doses. Women should only be allowed so many pills per year. They should not take advantage the pill. If god did not what things to happen the way they do he would have stopped it by now!

Well too late for that. It is.

And of course it should be legal. It is up to individuals to do what they want. Technically a woman could have taken some rat poison and aborted the zygote with or without the morning after pill. The pill only makes people safer - and those detractors who say it encourages pregnancy are full of it - attraction to the opposite sex and horniness are what encourages pregnancy.

I think the morning after pill is great for women that were raped. But I think it is a really stupid form of birth control. As far as it being available over the counter, I think it should be, just for the purpose of those women that have been assaulted and that are to embarrassed or scared to report it.

Yes.

It could save alot of heartache.

And there will be many less children in the world who have parents who don't care about them.

Irresponsible people need help sometimes. And if they don't get it, they end up giving birth to more children who become irresponsible adults because they weren't cared for properly.

Its sad but true that alot of people nowadays think about sex and not the repurcussions.

Most certainly. Don't think it should be used as a form of birth control but if a female needs it once then go for it. But taking too often, don't think it has been around long enough for proper studies to have been completed to measure possible side effects.

It is legal.
As far as the sex thing, people have been expirimenting their sexuality for all time, whether it was known publically or not. Sex is a matter of choice. When it is not, as in the case of rape wouldn't it be better to have something around rather thn having an abortion or another unwanted child?

Of course. Why are we allowing nutcases like James Dobson and Pat Robertson to make medical policy for the rest of us?

i do not study about Minnesota, yet the following in l. a., they promote the pill for about $50 at any pharmacy. you could also attempt purely asking your well being care service, i imagine they could prescribe it there and also you'll get it for loose.

Goodness, yes. It is legal, and that's to our great blessing. It's hard to imagine a more fundmental right than to be in charge of one's own body, and this medication provides access to that right.

Yes. It seems to me to be a reasonable alternative to the other post-coital means of birth control - abortion.
