Most RELAXING place in the world?

Hmmm...

I like the mountain/resort town of Telluride, Colorado. It is MUCH less busy that Aspen, Colorado and yet still offers an upscale feel. There is also a resort SPA in Mountain Village with 30+ massage therapists on hand. You can travel between Mountain Village (a nearby village) and Telluride via a free gondola. The scenery is VERY beautiful. Lots of scenery, beauty, etc. Very peaceful.

I also like the small town of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. It's a remote village deep inside the Alps. You can take mountain hikes to a couple of villages nearby. The views are incredible. You are truly in the Alps. Note, however, that tourism is increasing in this area. Even so you can still enjoy the villages and mountain climbs.

I would oike to visit the Cook Islands someday. As well, I'd like to visit Lake Como in Italy. The San Juan Islands in Washington State are also pretty relaxing. The ferry rides across Puget Sound are my favorite. Incredibly peaceful.

Switzerland! Go to www.COSMOS.com for packages of trips around Europe or anywhere else in the world! Or, you can go to a cruise. I went to the Bahamas and also Mexico. Very relaxing, gourmet cuisine, shopping, casinos, bar, excurisions offshore, or when the ship lands somewhere you can stay in the boat when the passengers go out for the excurisions, spa, pool, heated, etc. I would recomment going to Carnival or Royal Caribbean. I personally like RC better because of more activites, but Carnival had bigger rooms and cheaper rates though both cruiselines are the same! Have fun!

Country ... the Adirondacks of New York, Lake Placid Olympic Village in the winter, Blue Mountain Lake area in the summer and everyplace in the fall to see the explosion of colors.

Spring time it is wet and muddy with black flies.....but the wait through spring is worth the beauty and relaxing.

Dubai, the city of gold. Peacefull. So many beaches and luxurious hotels to choose. Desert adventure and plenty of water sports. Dubai Duty Free festivals are running 365 days, with a lot of luxurious items to win, from a kilo of gold to Ferrari or Rolls Royce.

Try Catalina Island, just 27 miles off the coast of southern California. Lots to do there, and there's few cars, so you can rent a bike to get around. It's beautiful there, especially this time of year. But nice year round actually.
