*sigh* i've liked a guy for two years on and off now, but the only thing is he is practically a sex god. while he is hot, i like him for more than that. he is always a gentleman, loves to read, etc. SO how do i make myself stand out from his normal groupies? i don't want to go right ahead and ask him out, because he's too nice to say no, even if he doesn't really like me. please help before he's lost to the fanged makeup covered girls of highschool.

the only way to stand out is to separate yourself. let the normal groupies as u call them tire him while you shine at being there when he needs you work on yourself dont lose yourself trying to be the ONE anyway he may not be the one for u

It's a little easier being a guy than a girl. Older guys know how to cajole people socially as a means of matching vibes and then making a suggestion. It's a subtle thing.
In your case, you'd rather he invited you to go out. The problem is, you don't know how to induce him to make that invitation. Does he have a hobby? If he hikes, you can arrange to be on a trail when he comes along, maybe with a broken shoelace or something. (Have a spare with you. He might put in the shoe for you.)
Likewise, if he bicycles, you can be on his route with a flat tire. (Have a pump. He might do the work for you.)
There's always the bottom fell out of the grocery bag trick.
Don't do this kind of thing a lot. Either he'll think you're stalking him, or he'll figure you're way too accident prone to risk dating. But once in a while, a good helpless female act might facilitate an introduction by making him feel gentlemanly.
And don't go overboard with an act. You have to appear semi-competent, just let him be more so. Strike up a familiar conversation while your hands and eyes are osensibly engaged with some mechanical thing or other.

well, the basic thing would be to ask him out but i know that can be hard for girls to do! Before you ask him out though maybe you should get a friend to ask " well, i was just wondering, do you by any chance like 'your name' " it might work! But, if you think about it the smartest thing to do is just ask him out, or ask him if he likes you cause you like him... if hes nice he shouldn't be too hard on you and if he's as nice as you say he is then if he doesn't like you he'll tell you, and maybe you guys could still be good friends, ya i know, friends, but thats the next best thing next to him being your boyfriend!!
hope it works out ok

eh, I think you just have a crush on him. He'll realize how special you are when he is older. Right now, he's attracting too much female energy to really have the focus of finding the right one.

baby girl, all you have to do is say "hi, how's going?" just to be notice by him. from the passive greeting, start a conversation with him. trust me, he'll notice you since you both have an interaction. good luck

Don't waste your time. A couple years after you graduate your going to think he was a douche bag.. or he's going to turn out to be gay. My bet is on him being gay.

Talk to him and get to know him better (and let him get to know you better). If he is interested he will ask you out eventually.
